Before I bought my car I did the math on whether or not it was more affordable to just Uber/Lyft everywhere. Turns out for the little driving I do it actually would be, but that's just too much dependency on apps that operate in gray space for me.

Welcome to New York is my favorite song for car jamming. I hated it at first but it grew on me so hard.

Oh no! Job experience in college? Good thing. Especially if you're coming straight out of college. I'm talking like, "I financed my own education without the support of my parents through scholarships, loans, and working part time jobs 20 hours a week while maintaining a full course load."

Interesting. I've never met anyone who liked them, but it also could have had to do with the company/position.

I think hiring managers all have different perspectives but in the hiring I've done I put a fair amount of weight on a cover letter. Part of it was the field (marketing and relationship management) where you need to prove that you're a good writer and can communicate well in writing, but part of it is also proving

Ha! Thanks autocorrect! If only my concealer made me look <18 again...

I do bb cream, concealer (two types), powder (two types), neutral eyeshadow (2 types), mascara and dark shadow on my brows.

Ditto. I work remotely and see my whole team just a handful of times a year. A nice gel manicure before I go in a neutral color makes me feel a bit more put together but I don't have to worry about it at all. They're amazing for business trips that are longer than a day because you don't have to worry about them

I used to spend $60 on foundation until I realized the Aveeno BB cream may have slightly less coverage but makes my skin soooo much happier. All of my cash lately has been going to every under eye treatment/cream under the sun to get rid of my bags but I'm getting sinus surgery next week and my doc thinks it may

My makeup economics are significantly different ($18 BB cream, $8 powder, $8 eyeshadow palette, $6 concealer, $10 mascara, $10 underage concealer...Wow drugstore makeup still adds when you lay it out that way), but I still spend 15-20 minutes each morning on my makeup routine to make sure I'm wearing enough makeup to

I am more in awe when celebs have flawless skin due to ALL THE MAKEUP they wear seemingly all the time.

Yo Selena we have all been there. My boyfriend when I was 18 was a bassist in a local band, already starting to bald, lived with his parents, and couldn't keep any sort of job longer than 2 or 3 months. WE MET ON MYSPACE.

If it will help, send away : )

I think you need to look at your registry strategically. First are the things you really need/want: daily dishes, towels, etc. Then are the "upgrade" things: really nice bedding, appliances you wouldn't buy yourself but wouldn't say no to, nice pans, etc. Then there are the big ticket items that are more "wishful

Do a registry. It saves you from getting so much weird, crazy stuff. You'll still get some of it but not to the extent that you would otherwise. It also makes it easier for people to get you a gift - most people don't WANT to get you something you don't want/need.

I'm more offended by how plastic her body has been smoothed to look. At this point if the bottoms actually came off I'd just assume it'd be the bottom of a Barbie torso.

Can't you see her using a "blur" or "soften" tool and just cackling as the years fly off? NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW.

I'm living for how photoshopped JLO is. Don't ever change, Ms. From the Block.

I <3 Courtney Milan and I <3 Stephanie Laurens. If I see either of their new books at Walgreens I know I'm going to be opening my wallet and canceling my plans for the day. Woohoo for strong, smart women characters!

This is my airplane boarding habit. "In case of Lost-esque situation, what am I working with?"
