The more I think about this the more it bugs me. I can't envision some "family-friendly" looking title like this having the metric ton of configuation options that the older Fire Pro games have...seems totally out of the question. I'm scared they're going to wind up dumbing it way down to try to appeal to the masses.

@Whooped.D.Dew: The characters have always been cartoony so I don't think Fire Pro is really "hardcore" in the visual department (something like Giant Gram 2000 would fall under that umbrella).

How is spoiling an easter egg not a spoiler?

@Rozzlit: Yeah, I know. I still have my DC hooked up anyway, but I was just sort of hoping for something with a current-gen presentation (and by that I DON'T mean "put it in 3D).

Ok, the Avatar thing is a really questionable decision, and the 3D thing brings King of the Colosseum to mind - but still, if it PLAYS like Fire Pro should, this is an immediate day 1 buy for me.

Has MS done ANYTHING right since releasing the new model console? The console itself is very nice, but since then:

Thought #2 was R. Mika for a second. Looks more like a video game 'rasslin outfit than something Cammy would wear.

Super Mario Land selling more than SMB3 baffles me.

Fffff....I should have taken tomorrow off.

All I want with an update is not having to go into the f'ing Zune Videos directory to watch any video I download and don't watch immediately. Used to be click, select video, play. Now it's click...wait for load...wait for load...wait for load...wait for load...wait for load...wait f...select video, play.

@Shinigami_Chop: You don't know how this works, apparently - responding to something automatically promotes it.

@TonyPatrillo: Since everyone else has already pointed out how inaccurate that is, I won't bother.

Shrug. Not nearly as weird as the Zelda II fairy spell glitch...and that wasn't faked.

@SpinachPuffs: There is definitely more hype for Reach than ODST. Heck, ODST didn't even get a "special edition" or whatever.

That turret level sounds annoying, based on what was written.

It's still depressing/annoying that the DC had such a short run - one of only two consoles I've ever bought on launch day.

@TonyPatrillo: No, the PS2 sucked at the start. Hardware issues, higher price, Fantavision. The Dreamcast had a far superior library for quite a while.

The Halo 3 Legendary was honestly not worth the money...I guess the statues are "better" than the helmet, but then again it costs 20 bucks more than the Halo 3 Legendary did. I'm struggling to come up with how I'd justify paying 70 dollars for the statue (compared to the 80 dollar price of the midrange offering that

I like how this company seems to have the snooty attitude about how guitar playing is so much more complex and brilliant...then they use a NIRVANA reference to drive the point home. Maybe they'll do a follow-up ad with a Ramones reference?

I guess we can expand to non-sweaty 31 year olds wearing Testament shirts. They're far superior anyway.
