@Dane Martin: Not a shot in hell. MS is probably already laughing knowing they had it "right" when they charged for this, they won't be moving to a free model for online play.

@Plainswalker22: For similar reasons, I'll always prefer points to real money, even if I do have a random 60 points left over once in a while that are "useless." When you're paying real money, $14.99 is $14.99. Sure, you get the occasionals sale, but if you're paying with points, though, $14.99 could be $12.99, or…

No price being announced = MS knows the price will cause ridicule, so they don't want to mention it here.

After this week all I can seem to care about is Mortal Kombat.

JSR with importable custom graffiti (not likely I know, but the DC version had it and it was awesome) would be a day 1 purchase.

@Whompa02: Those games weren't awful. They weren't technically as deep or refined as a Capcom or Namco fighter, but they were mindless fun with friends.

Hell yes. I've always liked MK, even when I knew some of the games weren't really that great. Day 1 purchase.

@krushjudgement: Action wasn't "lame," and if you're looking for a rock-solid plot and thoughtful dialogue, you're in the wrong place. It's like you're calling Shakespeare too wordy.

@ShaggyB: The fans are louder than the DVD drive - I suppose every little bit helps, but honestly, I'd trade less fan noise for DVD drive noise any day. I didn't notice that much of a difference in noise after installing because the fans are so overpowering.

I love the MK storyline. As flawed as parts of the actual games may be at times compared to something like Street Fighter, it has always had the best mythology behind it as far as fighting games go.
