Glad they've been devoting resources to this when there's still been no word of HL Ep. 3. Really.

Didn't like MM9. It was hard for the sake of being hard - I've played through MM 1-4 on the NES back when they were released, and while they were difficult, none of them were that ridiculous.
@Viic Viiper: Hah. Awesome.
I wish Mortal Kombat was real.
@CowboyKill3r: Well, CoD2 seemed pretty damn close, a lot of the same actors provided voices for characters similar to those in the show.
The fact they dug up some character as obscure as Billy Hatcher makes me want to give this game a shot on general principle.
"No matter what, we were fracturing the userbase, and we had to start from scratch. There was no way to just sort of do an update on the DLC"
@Ghetto Cornetto: Sounds like a multiplayer game when there's a helicopter overhead right after you spawn. And then again. And again.
"She Took The Fucking Dog?" rules, and I would buy "Modern Gwarfare" the SECOND it hit the shelves.
I know the natural reaction for some is to think it's fake, but I really doubt anyone would go to this much trouble. I'm sure it's legit.
@urfe: Every console has a few titles that allow them to play by their own terms. MS understands they can still expand their audience. Nintendo has never been too quick on the uptake when it comes to not being insular.
@Dragoonslayer12: Because you can always bring in new customers. It's not difficult to figure out.
@Krakn3Dfx: Bobby Kottick is a very short sighted individual, more interested in the short term bottom line than anything related to long term financial gains.
@Manly_McBeeferton: No, MW2's was design was pretty lame
@dompromo: Didn't trade it (still want to get through some spec ops stuff with friends), but it is definitely going on the backburner now with BC2 out.
...why bother if the console itself is plain? Isn't the design the only real appeal? I don't know anyone clamoring for a 250GB hard drive. I buy a metric ton of Rock Band songs and have dozens of XBLA games, plus at least half a dozen installed games on my 120GB, and I still have like 40GB left.
@Knoxximus Kiryu: You answered your own question.
@battra92: Same game as you just mentioned. I paid 20 for the 360 version when it was still at the 40 dollar mark and I almost felt guilty. Must own game for whatever system you have.
This has been one of the screwiest weeks in gaming ever. And it is only Tuesday.
@ttursas: Same. I'm alone in the office today.
