A combo of tech-shaming and ageism. Not very woke. Or is that term now

I heard it for the first time maybe a week ago, from my 32 year old partner who also had never heard of it. She works with almost exclusively 30-somethings, and they make a shitload of presentations.

Even being old AF, I can recognize shitposting.

This is a profoundly bad (and wrong) article. I mean I get it’s supposed to be tongue in cheek (I guess? I hope?) but it certainly doesn’t read that way. Referencing Friends or The Office is a faux pas? The latter is literally, by far, the most streamed show, and the former just had a popular reunion show that people

Can I post pictures of my cat *here* since FB is down?

Recently attended a Zoom on “Managing Generation Z”...the topics were more about setting goals and structure than word-usage so that the younger generation understood how to manage expectations. They wanted to understand the goal-line better, there was no talk about spreadsheets, PDFs, or Slack except as a reference

Struggling with basic tech literacy

Not only is this ageist and borderline offensive, I don’t even think is all that accurate.

I legit pour a bowl of cereal and watch the new directs like I was still 13 years old me. The excitement and nostalgia I get watching them is unmatched by any other gaming company.

an OLED is not a “new switch”, technically, and the only people buying it are either the holdouts or the loyalists. In any case the loyalists will buy whatever as they have always done, and the holdouts will feel like they must, once again, hold out for five years after the switch 2

I thought Good Omens was fine. The problem is that I read the book in my late teens and I’ve had very specific versions of what the characters and scenes look and sound like in my head for over thirty years now. The adaptation was very faithful, of course, and I’m curious to see what the second season, based on the

It’s kinda fucked how much Chris Pratt hate seems steeped in “he was fat and then got leading man good lucking” & “he’s religious” like dude didn’t want to settle for being the funny friend in Hollywood and found God after his child nearly died as a baby I don’t get the aggressive hatred he’s harmless and very

- Kirby: The Last of Us looks really cool.

I had to doubletake to make sure it wasn’t April 1st.

Honestly, this whole presentation left me pleasantly surprised! I had set my expectations low but there was quite a bit of meat here from a really wide variety of genres. I swear that new FF Racer game is a reskinned Diddy Kong Racing.

Charlie Day was the best one, and Jack Black -might- also work I’d need to hear it. The rest was so befuddling that I could not stop from laughing between just repeating ‘what’.

At first, I was giggling. As it kept going, I was ROFL. What a cast indeed...

Those crazy bastards. Open world post-apocalyptic Kirby was definitely not on anyone's bingo card.

Watching the cast reveal live was the most emotion I’ve felt in months. Fluctuating rapidly between shock, bewilderment, happiness, and confusion.
