The first person levels in Metal gear solid 2 substance were definitely worse off, there’s a level in the dark with no radar so you can’t see enemies behind you, and these enemies might have riot shields...

Maybe nothing is ruined, but that doesn’t mean it makes it better.

Okay, so, while this article is tongue in cheek, I need to stop you with that Tetris remark. Go play first person tetris. It’s one of my favorite games ever. I LOVE it. Go follow the link in the article. Have fun!

Ultimate rebuttal: dead or alive xtreme beach volleyball

I’ve started trying 1st person a little bit every day. It takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of it, it’s hard to do things any other way. Ease yourself into it, just do a few minutes a day, starting with easy tasks like brushing your teeth

Okay, so while the article itself is clearly tongue in cheek, I legitimately cannot think of a single game that was made worst by first person.

StarVR has 210* FOV. Still not released to the public though, but it’s coming.

Zone of the enders 2. I loved the improved controls and the vic viper fight, but the enemies are a bit too numerous and the set pieces are really annoying, like the cargo box puzzle, navigating the invisible minefield, and especially escorting ardjet! Seriously, why does the camera lock on to the thing i’m defending

Ebert is the same guy who gave his thumbs up to the Fast & Furious movie franchise on grounds that they’re “fun movies.” Roeper nearly fell out of his chair hearing that.

Ain’t nothin’ wrong with porn, champ.

Having played it, it doesn’t feel like the Metroid name was just slapped on it. It actually feels like a cool side adventure in a bigger universe and makes me wish we had more of these, just as I’d like there to be more main Metroid games, too. They do a good job not just of using Samus as a supporting character but

Right, same, but for Castle in the Sky.

Its more Kojima stepping in and saying 'Here's what my game is supposed to look like, before Konami handed it over to a bunch of people who have no idea what they are doing. Don't worry, we fixed it for you. You're welcome.'

Well the patch is free so it's more like "sorry you paid for this crap here's a free fix to turn it into gold".

Honestly I applaud their support of the game after release. Unless I am mistaken only game breaking issues have been patched in any HD re release collection up until this point. They basically put out a patch upping overall resolution, texture resolution and shader effects. That is no small amount of work so kudos to

To be fair, I don't think they're "advertising" per se. Maybe explaining? Showing? I dunno!

Patch also fixed the framerate yeah. It's at a solid 60fps now!
