I’ve found that 95% of software installs just fine... I mean Windows 10 at the core is still the same windows it’s always been Vista.... Setup a virtual machine and test it. (Jinkies!)

I’m on the fast track and am loving it, the new builds are fantastic! This anniversary edition blows 1511 out of the water, specifically for the Surfaces in my case, so smooth.

Same here outside of two programs our guys use maybe 2 times a year...

Eh some of our users had to wait unfortunately while 1511 installed, wow 30 minutes... :*( Oh the $10s of dollars lost. Get real. Unless you’re dealing with traffic controllers, get over it. Though downtime was uncommon, most of the time it was after hours since ITS PROGRAMMED TO RESTART AFTER HOURS.

You can roll back the install or OH I know! Stop whining! Unless of course you have to have it because you’ve tried everything in your power to get your small old program to run.

You can block it if you know what you’re doing...

The only software I have found that doesn’t work so far is a program called Sapphire...and even then I have found a way to manually make it work hah... Registering every .ocx with a script.

Let me assure you, I have installed Windows 10 about 160~ times...I have never once lost data.
