you know you're right the concept of this show so far makes no sense to me. What energy disappeared? There are so many ways to generate electricity.

You know I really wish someone would bring that up in one of these types of shows. Depending on how long it was between the apocalyptic event and the start of the show you can show how creature comforts dwindle until the infrastructure can be reset back to the pre-industrial era

I'm going to have to completely disagree on this one. There are many reasons why but my primary reason is, Star Trek did not predict the future correctly it inspired it.
