Cory Booker tore up her lack of “academic curiosity” (he didn’t use those words) this afternoon over her lack of awareness and attempts to self-educate on racial issues surrounding policing and sentencing, so that was fun, too. 

The gall of any judge dismissing something as “academic.” YOU’RE A CANDIDATE TO THE SUPREME COURT. It does not get more wonky than that. Academic discussions should literally be your bread and butter.
