Not just Deadspin, just think about the advances in OLED technology that will happen in even one short year.

Imagine your ex cheating on you and moving out and two years later their half brother shows up and asks if they can crash at your place for a few months since they have room now.

As a Fresno resident, I gotta say 1) you’re not wrong and 2) they’d only be able to play at Bulldog Stadium (38,000 seats) but they’d absolutely fill it every time. Even before the Derek Carr pick, they had a fan base here. Playing here would probably make them more money than a hobbled year at a half full soccer

Is the Whatever-the-Dome-is-Named in St Louis still capable of hosting an NFL game? They’ve been keeping it running, right?

Fresno?  I think the Bakersfield Raiders is more accurate.

They could just forfeit all 16 games and save everyone all the trouble.  As an added bonus, this gives Deadspin a whole year to think up how to make Gruden even more red.

Man, Fresno would be so perfect for them. When I think Fresno, I think Raiders neck tattoo. They should move there and call off the move to Vegas to stay in a city that so perfectly encapsulates the team and its fans.

It’s probably not fair to completely gut the little fellow here, but this being Deadspin, fair ain’t got nothin’ to do with it.

Ray Ratto is a Bay Area vagrant of minimal consequence.

What’s even dumber is how withholding that info actually makes it seem worse. Maybe 150k miles isn’t a big deal to you, but the fact that they were trying to hide it makes it seem like a bad thing. (much like not advertising the price makes me assume it’s out of step with the market)

I bet if they called themselves an NBA team & threatened to move to Seattle they’d get what they want.

They can prevent the Raiders from playing in their home stadium. But if they play in Santa Clara, the 49ers would almost certainly get a cut of the rent, which would make them want to approve the deal.

So the 49ers can block the Raiders from playing in San Francisco proper via territorial rights, but can’t prevent the Raiders from playing in the 49ers own home stadium using the same clause?

It takes a lot of effort to make the Browns seem like a functional organization but you can always count on the Raiders to accept that non-existent challenge.

Yeah...ok...so the runner was no slouch but what was the posture of the Lion?

- Matt Patricia

...he choked the lion to death while defending himself.

Wait, really?  So this guy beat the cougar at its own game?  How even more badass.

Also: Mountain lions kill large prey by suffocation: Get your arms up around your face and neck if it pounces, and never stop fighting.

Just one question: what was Chuck Norris doing in Colorado?
