The fuck did I just read? She’s the “social change reporter” for the Post? What the hell was she trying to achieve with this piece? So much headdesk...

From the Post: “He described himself as the result of a “crisis pregnancy,” born while his parents were in their junior year of college.” “I always grew up with the understanding that some people have kids in less than fully intended situations and there’s nothing wrong with that.”

All I’ve heard for YEARS from my nuttyass conservative family is how liberally biased the media is. I think we can scratch WaPo off THAT list now. Sheesh.

I read the word “infiltrated” in the headline, and knew I’d be seething with rage if I read the article, but I did. Turns out “seething” was an understatement.

I read this too. I wanted to punch my laptop. The fact that this guy gets a fawning profile, from the Post no less, is beyond anger inducing.

Fantastic—because objective—story of heroism

“It’s outrageous that this extremist is being treated like a legitimate advocate by the Washington Post, and it’s especially appalling that the Post felt no need to balance his demonization of medical providers. Doctors who provide abortion services are compassionate, highly skilled, and committed to women’s health

But, the IKEA toys are a great deal. Best price on a play kitchen (that’s gender neutral!) anywhere. Their stuffed animals are machine washable too, I recommend.

I too dislike the “they’re/we’re pregnant!” construction.

Mine does that too... She’s obsessed with cold, fresh water and always drinks from the cup I leave by my bed at night. Every so often she’ll knock it over and wake me up from it spilling all over me, and then have the nerve to look at me like, “Why the fuck am I all wet now?”

BINGO

It is truly amazing how many people see sexual assault as being inevitable, like rain.

It’s one of the world’s great ironies that a woman in the military is more likely to be raped by her commander than an enemy combatant. And it’s funny, in the blackest, most twisted gallows-humor sense of the word “funny”, that a lot of people hear about this, scratch their hollow pates, node sagely and say: “Well,

Not when they’re 100% accurate.

Up until a few days ago, the Carson campaign book tour was posting pictures on a website of all the people that came to get their book signed. It was an amazing source of entertainment. They stopped this week, saying there were just too many people who wanted their pictures with Dr. Carson. I have my doubts.

People like this absolutely kill me. No, less taxation doesn’t equal more liberty. It equals less education, less fixed roads/bridges, less safety, less clean water and less emergency personnel. In what way are you more free if your water is toxic, your house catches fire and nobody is available to put it out, you

A few years back, I wound up in a discussion somewhere online where a guy was claiming that taxation was oppression. His argument was less taxation = more liberty.
