That is pretty amazing. Also, creepy, and would be incredible for a costume party.

Cats are pretty standard anatomy specimens. My high school didn’t have them, but I’ve tutored high school and college A&P, and they all dissect cats. In high school, though, I never could have done it. I almost couldn’t dissect the fetal pig. You can buy them from bio supply companies.
Wait. Have we brought back that thing where we like arrange marriages in the cradle so that these 19 and 20 year old are marrying off their newborns?
One of the ways I did was to stop using any kind of clarifying shampoo or anything with sulfates. If I do that, it strips my hair, and I get a horrible greasy, dry mess in two or three days. if I push through that though, it does improve. For years, I washed my hair, at most, once a weak with any kind of cleanser.…
I’m probably a 3a, and the Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Cowash Conditioning Cleanser (http://www.sheamoisture.com/Coconut-Hibisc…) has been amazing for me. I can actually wash my hair more than once every blue moon without it looking like a fried haystack. I don’t even have to use a separate heavy conditioner or…
Yes. People are awful.
Those are awesome. The ones they had at the last county fair I went to were like little sleeping infants of ever increasing size. they make more accurate ones, but most of the ones I’ve seen tend to portray fetuses as tiny perfectly formed one month olds from conception onward.
For this reason, I have recently started taking pictures of myself every time I try some new makeup trick, and I hate taking selfies. This habit began after the bronzer disaster of early summer. In the mirror, I thought I looked sun kissed. My niece told me my face was dirty, and looking at pictures, I looked like I…
I went to undergrad south of there in the Tidewater area, and it always seemed like awful police stories happened up there. A fair amount of my classmates came from NoVa and were mostly very negative about that area.
As soon as I saw Prince William County, I knew it was going to be terrible.
Joaquin recorded the incident without the younger sister’s knowledge or consent and then claimed it was on Hera’s camcorder. Police took the camera and didn’t find anything. He said he could retrieve it, and the police let him just take it out of the station to his attorney’s office since they didn’t know how to find…
Seriously, that was just an amazingly awful way to deal with the grieving mother of dead baby. Even if she believes the mother is unfairly blaming her, she could just throw it in the trash. Taunting the woman like that is just incredibly cruel and unnecessary.
Sadly, I am not. That would have required way more cleverness than my current sleep-deprived, caffeine-deficient brain can do at the moment.
Close. . . Karlie
That’s what it kind of seemed like from the story. The school does have a history of suspending kids for uniform stuff, but it definitely seemed like there was more to the story, and the way mom is pushing it makes me think she really got into it with the administrators, but that’s just an impression.
They call it a dress code and don’t seem to have to get specific uniform shirts. The manual just says, “a dark shade of green.” It’s odd.
The news interviewed another lady whose grandson was also suspended for a violation of a shirt that fine last year. I got the impression that something triggered them to get stricter this year. I also got the impression that this girl’s suspension possibly had something to do with an argument mom had with the…
Heh. I am wearing a kelly green shirt right now, and this idea makes me strangely happy.
I saw the original story on the news, and the station did call the school, but they didn’t give specifics as per policy. The impression I got from watching is that the scenario probably went something like this:
I don’t know about other industries. It’s not extremely unusual for private practice veterinarians to go part time, though. The pay suuuucks especially with school loans, but it happens fairly frequently. Then again, it’s a profession where the majority of the practitioners of typical reproductive and child-rearing…
