Love my current Lexus LX, and think this new GX looks great. First Lexus in last few years without the large garish chrome grille. Dealers are getting very positive reaction from this one, I’ve already put my name on a waitlist.
But I mean, and excuse my ignorance here, hasn’t the GX always just been a rebadged Prado? Why is this rebadged Toyota less fitting of the “GX” name than previous generations?
Based on my reactions to the GX and what I see on multiple car sites, you may be one of very few people in total who does not love the look of the new GX.
Judging from the way the person was driving leading up the crash and of course the crash itself, this person should be banned from driving for the rest of their life. Allowing them (and other similar people who are unable to operate a motor vehicle) to retake the test after recovery is a huge public safety concern.
All of these off road versions, because they refuse to change any of the tuning or suspension to handle larger diameter tires, look like they skipped leg day to me. The big fail with the Sequoia is floor space. The seats aren’t removable and they leave behind a big hump. If you want to take it camping and sleep inside as is, it’s basically impossible unless you’re a worm.
You missed “rolled over a bunch of negative equity into the loan”. But the dealer markup is the most likely explanation, which of course is pretty much instant negative equity.
