This reminds me of a story that I think first appeared on Deadspin where a journalist was on a private jet as part of writing an article and got some sort of digestive distress and the bathroom on the plan was actually in the main cabin with the other journalists and the only privacy was a curtain that was raised...

don’t know why anyone would want one of these instead of say a eunos cosmo or a skyline sedan if you wanted a totally flippant jdm import that works as a gt

Translation: “The kids who want these cars can’t afford them, so we can’t justify development costs of adding another option. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go work on the automatic for the new Supra.”

He has to be doing this on purpose right?

He’s a stringer so he doesn’t really publish much of anything—just sends the footage over to news orgs. To the best of my knowledge, what footage he puts on YouTube has victims’ faces blurred and does not include names.

No idea what you’re on about in that first paragraph or in what way this post could be considered a

HEY! I was there! (Oakleyguy on mud). Glad to see another LCDCer. Going to Telluride this year?

The 4Runner is smaller and that definitely helps when offroad. The Landcruiser is very capable offroad, within the limits of its geometry — it isn’t a 2-door Wrangler and never will be.

I picked up a 2005 LX (the Cruisers Lexus sibling) with 125k on the clock for about 16k a few months ago. Build quality and reliability on these trucks is incredible. I can attest that the option of picking up an older one of these is a fantastic option. Haven’t modded it (yet!), but even in stock form I enjoy it

I’m currently in an armored 200 series. We have a fleet of them, most with over 150k Miles. All of them armored when new and weighing over 8000 pounds. They are worth every penny. They just keep going. 100 percent stock minus the armor.

BRING US THE 76! SHAKES FIST*

All my 4-wheelin’ experience prior to my ‘17 Taco is with old 4 cylinder trucks, so I’m used to the Whiiiinnnneee

My 72 year old Mom wants to put one on the LX450 because it “looks cool”-she gave me life how can I deny her that?

I don’t need to keep them out... they sidelined themselves!

Toyota is pretty annoying with their fake hood scoops.

Question, with only 30% load on the drums...how much do you really think that extra heat dissipation matters? Even with a load the majority of the braking is still done with the fronts, especially downhill. The truth that people like you seem to skillfully ignore is that the technical superiority of discs mean dick if
