I feel like if they want to promote the heritage, they should somehow in some way bring back some of these designs from the past. perhaps modernize them w/ modern construction, less the tech. Looking at the cars today from Chevy, aside from the Corvette, there isn’t a one that I’d want to preserve.

I’m gonna have to pass on the good part, after they stopped longitudinally mounting their engines, that made RWD gone. Once RWD is no longer an option, it’s hard to argue the need for manual unless it was a lightweight sport focused car like the Integra or Civic.

I feel the same about every land cruiser that comes only in Auto, even the LXs.

It’s a subjective question. Don’t think too hard, use as much bias as you have at your disposal. Out of the cars you’ve owned, pick one, or pick several. Share the memories that stand out to you.

lol, my 1993 caribbean green ford taurus GL station wagon w/ the Ford Essex 3.8L 140hp and 215 lb ft of torque w/ optional trunk seating and 3rd seat in the first row.

I remember driving my cousin’s 2002 WRX hatchback.

That last point.

I flew into Phoenix on a Friday night and drove five hours to LA. The following afternoon, I found myself at Disney Music Hall on the Lower Grand snapping photos for posterity.  I sometimes hate myself for purchasing another silver car, but here we are.

The Lexus IS300.

I find it a bit pathetic that Toyota would be pushing the “look at the new prius, it’s finally pretty now!” line to psychologically trick people into thinking that it actually looks good and that’s a good performer.

Lowered RAV4 Hybrid (skip the PHEV Prime because it gets worse highway MPG).
