This was a great opportunity to bring back the JZ engine series. Toyota failed.

Who made the hairbrained idea to include a 400W inverter that they’ve been using since 2005 in the Tacoma into the 2022 Tundra when Ford’s F150 Hybrid offers an optional 7.2KW unit?
yeah, this is why i have a fridge. :P Helps the trips last weeks instead of days.
haha thanks, but i think they’re reserved by jalopnik bloggers.
A hybrid one is even better since you can run the AC if you forgot mesh nets for the windows.
He specifically said he wanted higher clearance than what the xB offered.
If you think poor quality and sh***y people running the GFC is sweet.
Wow, that is f***ing unfortunate. My condolences to your brother.
i mean, they could really just put the cooler outside when they go to bed.. or crack a window? Ideally, they’d be camping in a rooftop tent.
Hybrid Crossover. Toyota RAV4, Toyota Highlander, Ford Escape.
I think any hybrid crossover works here. Also switching to backpacking gear and/or getting a rooftop tent helps, HEAPS.
yah but, the teaser photo shows a grill like dis.
Perhaps. Or perhaps someone would accuse Jalopnik to be a bunch of pedophiles.
It’s sorta depressing thinking about spare parts for this car in 10-20 years.
that’s fair.
Yeah, the issue is by and large canbus affecting right to repair, a concept which many people don’t understand or accept when they brazenly yell out that they can just purchase an expensive part to replace.
Infotainment and Digital nannies.
My apologies, I should have prefaced that w/ anyone that knows about FJ Cruisers would choose a Pre-2010 model as a first choice unless it was dirt cheap and they were going to mod it.
Yeah, nobody wants a pre 2010 FJ Cruiser because of the issues like the fender support cracking in half, it’s pre-suspension upgrades that make it the same as the 5th gen 4runner and Land Cruiser Prado/GX460. Engine update, Turning radius decreased, backup camera, etc etc etc.
So how’s your friend’s Jeep today?
