From what I’ve seen, it’s more a mix of Horde & Nightfall. Which isn’t bad, by any stretch, but it’s not a “raid.”

Dalaran says hello, from Northrend, a few expansions ago. I guess you could technically get there via the portal below it. But mounting up and manually flying off to Naxxramas, which you could only get to via flying, was pretty memorable.

I’m interested as well. It took years before Warcraft allowed matchmaking raids, and they were dumbed down versions of the actual encounters, and having a few AFKers out of 25 people really didn’t hurt that much.
