I’m going to reference my profession, just once, to contextualize what I’m going to say next: I have spent the last decade as a professor of Literature (and Rhet/Comp, but whatevz).

This is pretty much why I don’t play online multiplayer games anymore. People take them too seriously.

I don’t think they’re bad at the game so much as the game is bad at letting someone be good at it (due to intentionally shoddy controls).

Er...Boyhood isn’t really a good example. Its very nature REQUIRED it to take that long to make. It wasn’t stuck in development - it was being filmed as the kid grew up. Something like Jurassic World would be a better example.

I always feel like the only person that actually really enjoyed FFVIII. Maybe I’m a sucker for weird card games and having a “salary”.

The only thing One Man’s Lie proves is that you can say anything you want about the product your selling no matter if its true or a lie and people will still buy it.

This is what is wrong with the system. Guy, admittedly stupidly, brings an airsoft gun onto a train. Cops show up, they cause the “disorderly conduct for creating a disturbance”, then they charge the guy with a crime he did not commit, because he was in most likely just sitting waiting for his stop.

Got the game last night and played for about 3 hours. A few things right off the bat (PS4 version), it’s super pretty, exploring/crafting is deep enough to be interesting but simple enough to not be a total chore.
