I took it that Bonnie/Spike Lee's sister was there for the same exact reason as Tawney… they both cared about Zeke. Neither had to be there. Neither was supposed to be there. Besides, I'm not sure how Bonnie freaking out about Tawney's presence would've advanced the story.

I don't think that there was any implication that Jane was correct in how she acted. I think "Being Jane'd" is about her being very judgmental/high and mighty (in this case towards Rafael), as is her character's main personality flaw. (Keep in mind, later in the episode, she inspects the contents of her cousin's bag

They were probably lying to impress Cat over the cat. You know damn well Jane and Michael talked it to death.

I loved the ep, although the Chloe stuff was a little crazy. Have to see where that's headed. The Amantha/Janet and Teddy/Melvin scenes were excellent. It's amazing how much I hate Teddy, yet feel bad for him at the same time. That's great writing/acting I guess.

The episode had me when Jane said, "I'm coming! I'm coming!"

I. literally. do. not. care.

I'm imagining Dana from Homeland setting off a nuclear bomb. You know what… that probably would've been a better storyline than what happened with her and the Vice President's son.

Zack set off a nuclear bomb because he was mad at his father… do you understand how completely asinine that sentence is? I think I would've preferred 8 more hours of Fet pretending there aren't 7 trillion more important things to focus on than the fact Eph and Dutch banged.

I thought the ep was an "A" on the strength of the monologue alone. Any mention or visual of Kerwin is a winner.

I loved the ep. It was classic JtV… sweet, sometimes confrontational, and VERY freakin' funny. Rafael asking/saying Jane was a married virgin was the highlight of the ep.

I just stumbled onto the show a few weeks ago and I'm kinda stunned by how good it is. This ep was great. My favorite part was Jim's discussion with The Guy about the tick. "I know people drafted into Vietnam who reacted more calmly than those two about that tick…" HA!

I'd also mention how absolutely awesome the music was on this show. Songs like "Hallelujah", "Dreaming of You", "Overkill", "Come Around" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" stand out.

I never for one second thought of Van as "a shrew whose main function was prodding Earn to do something with his life." Earn isn't Walter White with a degree, job, car, and insurance. He's someone who really isn't pulling his weight in any way. Because of that, I have an extremely difficult time believing that

I liked the episode a lot. Mostly because my least favorite thing about this show has always been the Nick/Jess dating storylines.

"Just hand stuff" with Nadia sounds frightening.

The best Duane Reade joke ever was from 30 Rock when they sent Kenneth to get Tracy's prescription on the corner of (blank & blank) and when Kenneth arrives, there's a Duane Reade on ALL FOUR CORNERS of the street.

I thought he just really liked Ellen.

If we're going to talk about female roles in recent Woody Allen films, we should include Radha Mitchell in "Melinda and Melinda".

From what I've heard, Brother Ray once owned a bar/whorehouse and had a second in command named Dan.

I thought Richard saying "Thank you" was almost as funny as the first part.
