Yup. The 2019 hatch’s rear and that gigantic C pillar just kill the car. The new 2019 sedan looks much better.

Besides that fact that the slopping hatch has to seriously impact cargo capacity. It’s like mazda got embarrassed that the 3 has hatch variant and tried to hide it. The same way they got embarrassed about making mazdaspeed, and tried to distance themselves from it as much as possible.
