Thanks for filling me in, Evil Lincoln. Doesn't sound like I missed any hugely relevant. But what a time to flash back from weather to the show, seeing Wu being killed. Somehow, the previews don't lead me to think he'll be resuscitated with the Splinter, but I hope that's just a preview fake-out.

I'm glad to hear that the show will address their possible kinship. I raise my hand for a spin-off, too.

WUUUU!!! HANK!!! *sob*  I really had thought/wished that Wu at least would make it to the end. Wu, I'm going to miss your dry black humour on Friday nights more than you can know. *sniffle*

Haha, I appreciate your informed correction, so thank you. I hope you make it to Jeopardy one day. ;)

No, it's not as a general matter, but to take an airline trip simply to have a conversation?? And one of the friends seemed to be involved in the movie industry, so possibly Hollywood, which makes it even further of a jaunt merely to talk to someone who's otherwise busy being involved in a national emergency like the

Excellent point about the subtle, subconscious impact of those missiles upon the viewer, and how this show tries to make us think that anything can happen at anytime.

You're absolutely right, it would be something like Marine Two since the President wasn't onboard. :)

You're welcome to adore the Hairy German anytime you'd like! ;)

Okay, that was just brilliant and perfect. Bravo!!

I wish this site has private messaging or something because my heart hurt at your comments about Satori, so I apologise to the other readers but I have to make a short OT digression, too. (Or, rather, again.)

I noticed that they didn't ask about Henry's whereabouts, too, and I thought it was hilarious.

That was my exact reaction, too! An all-caps screech at the television of "MARTHA!!!!!!," followed by a few "Oh my god"s and "Poor Martha"s, muttered out loud. I'm so glad they kept the mystery by omitting Alison Wright's name from the opening list of guest stars. It was the perfect surprise as the camera slowly

I feel the same way. The Orphan Black thread has the same spirit, as did the now defunct Penny Dreadful one, and both had a lot of overlapping participants with the posters in this one, but somehow the Grimm thread feels like the most like a tight-knit family to me. For me, it's not a complete Grimm night and outing

Thank you, Seabreeze, he's my furry baby love. I'm the stereotypical crazy dog person, only it's primarily centered on GSDs. And thank you for the warm welcome as well. I've read you in so many threads that I almost feel as though I know you a tiny bit. With regard to commenting, I find I'm generally too verbose for

Thank you for the information. Much appreciated. I must have missed her comment about the size during the show, but it makes more sense now.

I think all chefs (on both sides) should have the full range of standard equipment on the finale that would enable them to perform their best. On Top Chef, a pressure cooker seems pretty standard. :)

Shirley said in an interview the broth was the one thing on her menu that she regretted, but she also explained that there was no pressure cooker provided to them so she couldn't extract the maximum amount of flavors in the time allotted the way she could have normally. Given how much TC contestants have relied on

Talking about how the show handled things, I read a Top Chef article last night where Shirley said there was no pressure cooker in the kitchen, and that was why she couldn't extract maximum flavor for her ramen broth. She wasn't saying it as an excuse, only explaining why her ramen broth was the one thing on her menu

@CarpeVagenda can correct me if I'm wrong, but I read it as a joking question on the alleged disappearance of all the hip, cool, media-savvy posters. (And, ergo, implicitly joking about how the OP thought it wasn't any of us commenting here.) I may well be mistaken. I'm massively sleep deprived at this point.

You raise a number of good points about Katsuji. A few things back as discussion:
