I’ve also seen Coke at a lot of triathlons as well. It’s usually just served at the last water stop towards the end of the run. I’ve drank it towards the end of some other long distance events as well. It’s a good burst for that last 10-20 min, but definitely not something you want to use to fuel a whole race.
