you can kill a primer with oil. Deprime the case. Insert unfired primers and give them a squirt of oil. If I build these it will be with unfired primers.

Great digging. Looks like they're ~10s a lap slower on most circuits than the current F1 cars. I wonder how much of that can be attributed to tyres and fuel loads. This sounds like something Top Gear need to test out.
