If it makes you feel any better I purchased a Ludwig drum set this past Tuesday off CL. The price asked was fair. I brought the cash with intentions of trying to offer a bit less. After looking at the set and the condition it was in I couldn’t haggle and paid the asking price. I still walked away with a deal...
I don’t think it’s much different than posting an item for $2000 knowing very well beforehand you’ll take $1500...To each their own.
Offering half is a slap in the face...However, when I find an item on CL that I’m wanting to buy I’ll have a friend email and shoot them an offer that is below what I would guess they’ll take for it. After they reply to my friend I’ll email a short time later and make an offer that is still pretty low, but better than…

So glad to see the video of Buzz when I scrolled down. It was one of the 1st things I thought of when reading this...
I only lasted 13 seconds...
I was getting ready to lay down some egg production stats until I read it as, (coo).

Until around the 1950s the banana eaten the world over was called “Big Mike”<—Giggity... A fungus began to kill entire plantations of Big Mike. Since each…
I use a small bench top belt sander. It removes less material than a grinder, heats up less, makes a smoother edge, and you can make a wedge to use as a guide for a near perfect edge. Harbor Freight sells an inexpensive one for around $50.
It’s only dangerous in high doses, like when your coke has been cut with it...
Need another baby boom...
