could the name of her movie be more appropriate? only “certain women” can be nonchalant about diversity or gender equality...they may have amended her phrasing but the gist of what she says remain the same.

Whether she’s saying this about diversity or women, it smacks of privilege. Especially from a person who was born into that industry with family connections and flourishes still because of them. It’s certainly not her acting and I’m a fan of hers. Her best acting was in Panic Room, when she confused the audience who

Gosh, everything is boring today. Had she not been misquoted and had I know that the comment was about sexism I would still feel the same way because it comes from a place of extreme privilege to be able to feel that way. It’s easy to forget or maybe not even care much in the first place that others like you are

I don’t think she’s ever proven herself to be at all interesting. She’s a terrible actress and always comes across as self-conscious and sullen. Plus she slept with her directors, which I'm mostly blaming on the director- he is the one that was married. But still, it's hard to hear a woman talk about how women should

When you correct the misquote she looks like an even bigger idiot because sexism totally affects her. And it’s not like it hasn’t been a long week of white people shitting on black peoples feelings over diversity in hollywood.

How does her talking about gender equality make her statements any better? If anything, I think a mediocre pretty young woman telling those complaining about gender equality to stop bitching, is much more sinister than her being clueless about diversity.

“But that subject is just so prevalently everywhere right now, and it’s boring.”-Everyone stop talking about important issues before you make me ~*yawn*~

And this is coming from someone who has benefited from nepotism her entire career?

It’s really disheartening when you expect some kind of depth and thoughtfulness out of a person for unknown reasons and are then given bullshit. The same bullshit that you are always given. She’s not smarter than any of the other privileged, white women out there just because she’s dark and moody. She’s just ignorant

Kristin Stewart then went on to say, It’s like the situation in Syria. Just fix it, okay? Just do something and make it stop. And then it will. It’s so boring. Why is everything so boring. I don't care! Just like fix everything so I can go back to not caring about making any facial expressions in my movies.

Yes. That shit is so irritating. Like why are you trying so hard? Fucking black guys doesn’t make you “hood” or hard or anything of the sort. Please stop.

Khloe irritates me with her “around the way” girl from the hood shit. Like plz take off the Compton baseball hat and go have a seat in your mansion, rich girl.

I completely misinterpreted the picture and thought that Blac Chyna had copied Rob’s tattoo on her own arm and was like GIRL DID YOU LEARN NOTHING AFTER YOU TATTOOED FUTURE’S NAME ON YOUR ARM AFTER 5 MINUTES OF DATING and then I figured out it was Rob’s arm AROUND her. I am an idiot.

Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry.

‘Roll Of Thunder, Hear My Cry’ was a favourite for me as a nine year old... I remember other books by Ann Rinaldi, like ‘Hang a Thousand Trees With Ribbons’ and ‘Wolf By The Ears’. They all had black or bi-racial girl protagonists.

“Understanding and criticizing what I say is super divisive. Stop sabotaging efforts that will benefit me—US (I mean, us)—by refusing to let me stand on your neck. We’re in this together.”

That’s exactly the issue with this apology. She doesn’t seem to realize what was wrong with her first statement, or why she got the backlash she did (even though it was made pretty clear).

I say this on behalf of a lot of black folks I know...”What the fuck is a Julie Delpy?”
