completely understood about the roster. the lack of the two star unis make no sense to me considering a lot of those designs are better and could make for some more unique move sets and skills. thats the one thing stopping me from making the full purchase right now. like i really REALLY wanted those 2 star uniforms.

I’m not sure why they bothered as most outlets are reporting the story mode is a shitty condensed version of the anime plot. I’m really salty that they fucked this game up, so much wasted potential for what should’ve been a slam dunk action game.

Few things I’ve noticed is that barely anybody has been streaming the game on Twitch. There have been a handful of people streaming non-story matches to very small audiences. Arc themselves are streaming character breakdowns right now to about 150 people which is easily the biggest audience for it I’ve seen today.

For the record, Kill La Kill IF’s story mode is a retcon of the anime. They brought Kazuki Nakashima in to supervise it. And as far as I can tell, the game uses dialog recordings directly from the anime. So maybe there’s some weird copyright issues that they’re dancing around with here.

Based on the demo, I’d assume they’re doing this because the story mode is essentially just a movie with very occasional gameplay bits in between movie segments. Also, based on that same info, I’d assume the story mode is a mind-numbing slog.

I don’t think anyone is questioning whether or not the kid needs to be there, they’re questioning whether or not this is relevant to what twitch is. My wife can’t breastfeed in front of her students not because it’s illegal, but because it’s not professional to do so.

Because it’s a tender and intimate moment between a mother and child that should be treated with reverence instead of a cheap and tawdry way to stir up controversy and clicks.
