Not quite, they may want you to buy the new content but they don’t close off original portions of the game to do it. Wanting a player to buy the new content is totally different from forcing players to buy new content. I have lots of games where I don’t have the new DLC but can still play all of the original game…

You can do that without locking out old content for players who may be unable to purchase the expansions, and FYI your monthly/yearly subscription is Live or PSN, so there you go ;-)

I have almost two maxed characters. Honestly just put your in game money towards buying the cheapest crates and use the crafting parts to build up your star cards. By focusing on what you want to build up, you can level pretty fast.
