He put Milwaukee on that list precisely because he knows they can’t trade for him. He wants to be in Milwaukee just as much as he wants to be in, say, Denver, but if he listed Denver they might actually have incentive to swing a deal, which is not what AD wants.

Look, I like laughing at the Knicks as much as anybody else, but you’re not being fair here. For one, those picks could turn out to be really good, and getting them is a pretty big deal. Second of all, and most importantly, maybe the Knicks *know* they are getting Kyrie and Durant this summer. I very much doubt it,

The Pelicans aren’t trading AD right now, there’s simply no way. If the Lakers want him they’re gonna have to trade for him in the summer, and they’re gonna have to beat Boston’s (and potentially Philly’s) offer.

He’s more skilled than DSJ for sure. That being said, he also isn’t nearly as athletic.

Were... were the Bulls expecting to win games with this roster?

Gotta say, I am enjoying this Durant season a ton. 30, 8, and 6 on 62% TS? Sign me the hell up.

I mean... he could always shoot threes, and there was no reason to think he couldn’t shoot threes, but he really needs to be a good shooter from deep to have any sort of value as an NBA prospect, at least in the lottery. His physical tools are about as bad as it gets for someone of his dimensions (he’s so slow and

Gotta say, losing to the Wizards in DC without CP3 isn’t really a super terrible loss. The Rockets are still pretty good. Harden should have passed more at the end of this one though, Capela is a capable enough short-roll playmaker. Also, Otto Porter made a couple of awesome plays on D near the end, basically reading

Yeah, surprised this wasn’t mentioned. Some people on Kings twitter seem to think that Vlade actually wanted to draft Luka, and other people in the Kings FO were the ones responsible for Bagley and are now mad that Bagley isn’t getting minutes while Doncic (and JJJ fwiw) look like future stars. The Kings (and Suns!)

Well, adjusted plus minus takes into account who you are playing with, so simply producing a good raw plus/minus on a good team will not necessarily lead to good adjusted plus/minus numbers. Draymond’s numbers are consistently and uncommonly great, even for this Warriors team.

Eh, Horford and Davis nicely fit the “cannot be played off the floor” mold, but they aren’t nearly as good defensively as Green. There’s a reason Dray is leading them in DPOY’s. Davis can get there if he can ever play at that level for a whole season, but he has yet to show that.

Haha, if anyone’s got a burner it’s KD. But seriously, just check out Green’s adjusted plus/minus numbers. They’re stupidly good.

I absolutely agree. Also, pretty much nobody has any clue whatsoever how fucking good Draymond Green actually is. People seriously talk about him as the fourth best player on the Warriors, as if he’s not twice the player that Klay is. He is almost as good, if not as good, as Curry and Durant, and yet people treat him

Well, MLB has a luxury tax, which is essentially a soft cap. That being said, baseball has more parity mostly because baseball as a sport is inherently more even and lends itself to parity much better than basketball does. MLB teams also are able to “control” their draft picks for a very long time due to ridiculously

This is incorrect, the NBA definitely views the cap as a mechanism to promote parity. That is why they tried to introduce cap smoothing to avoid the summer of 16' cap spike, even though it wouldn’t have changed labor costs one cent. In the end, the players didn’t agree, the cap spiked, and Durant was able to join the

Not that he’s the same type of player as Boozer, but the Suns already maxed Devin Booker. So yeah.
