Not sure what point you’re trying to make, but “irregardless” dates to 1912. Because a word has existed for a long time does not make its use any more rational.

It has no radio because the added electrical draw would stall the engine
Who started using the word “fitment”? I have been hearing it on car TV shows and now here. The word is “fit”.
I’ve never heard anyone say, “Fitment and finish”, or, “It’s a good fitment”. Its a non-existent word that, somehow, came into existence.
Plus, the fact that he said that he “had” to put it in the contract. That’s a bald-faced lie. He should be prosecuted for attempting to defraud the customer.
F1 should require all pit stops to be a minimum of time, no less. I’ve never thought it smart to make mechanics race to put a car together (tires, repairs, etc) while competing with mechanics in other crews to do the same. I think the sport would be safer if the racing is left on the track and not in the pits.
I owned a couple of Fiats in the 1970s. The taste in my mouth left by those miserable cars remains to this day, and, dare I say, in the mouths of others.
As soon as I saw them trying to re-enter the US a few years back, I remember thinking that if they haven’t made a complete turnaround and actually started building…

Whenever I see a review of a car at this price and performance level, anytime I read a negative comment I can’t help but mentally add, “Yeah, but I’d take one anyway. Yeah, but I’d take one anyway, Yeah, but I’d take one...”
“Apparently Ford is more interested in selling the trucks it wants to sell than listening to people and building a truck they want to buy”.
So, you think that Ford is building those things because they, ah, “want to”? Can’t imagine that it has anything to do with, oh, I don’t know, market research and looking in any…
Do you know what Google is?
FYI. The end of the month quota is long gone. If you listen to the car ads, most deals end on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th of the month, as do dealer incentives. Virtually all the old wives tales about buying cars (don’t buy a car built on a Monday or Friday, buy at the end of the month, etc) have fallen by the wayside in the…
You’re “guessing”? Well, this being “Jalopnik” and not “Boat maintenance daily”, yes, you’d think that we’re “new to the world of large ship maintenance”.
On the other hand, it appears that you felt the need to inform of us your vast experience at cutting through hulls to replace marine engines. You’ve accomplished…
“If your lease contract says OEM is required, and the insurance company says no, this seems like a dispute between the leasing company who holds the lien and the insurance company. I would contact Audi financial services and have them guide you in terms of what you should do.”
Nope. The dispute is yours alone. The…
Much of that stuff is flammable the the dealer isn’t supposed to deliver the car without removing it.
“I say good luck to anyone who tells me that they are going to buy Tesla stock or otherwise dibble and dabble in the stock market, which is all basically gambling, despite what every MBA program in America will tell you.”
Warren Buffett may disagree with you on that, as would many others. There are quite a few stock…
Not if the rocks are on the homeowner’s property.
Wow! A lifted truck with big wheels, big speakers and a crazy paint scheme. Virtually undrivable on the road and likely never to see the off road.
What an original concept.
“Obvious Volvo P1800 styling cues”? Other than the way the rear of the door is curved, I don’t see a single one. Please elaborate
Yeah, I can’t remember how many times I’ve wanted to lock my keys in my car WHILE leaving it running. Your rationale for doing so stretches credulity to the snapping point.
Jason, that’s not why FoMoCo put them there and no one else did. Just like Ford, Mercury and Lincoln were the champions of the “Carriage Roof” in…
Yeah, thanks for speaking for everyone without having any idea what you’re talking about. I haven’t seen you complaining that a top line Tesla Model S that goes for the same money, even though its a 12 year old design. Yeah its more advanced than the Mustang, but its still 12 freaking years old.
I don’t really care for…
