A lot of those logos are required to be there legally, under the contract the technology was licensed under. Even then, if you remove the legality requirement, they are often in place to cover up for the loading and preparation of assets.

The act of buying used is not bad my any means. It's when retailers deliberately unbalance their pricing to push used sales over new sales that things become hazy and a different matter entirely.

Castletroid games have pretty much not evolved after SotN, with the few changes being just enough to keep a semblance of being "fresh".
