You're an idiot. They should've called the police! It is a crime!

The entiiiiiiiiire Rolling Stone piece is about the fact that giving a young, traumatized victim three "equal" choices and no guidance on how to choose is a very bad way to ensure justice for her or accountability for her alleged assailants. From Erdley:
ditto the other 2 commentators, you need to read the story. one insight is that at no point did the university investigate the frat in question until after they learned about the RS investigation (despite 2 more cases of gang rape at the same frat).
"I feel for her, I really do, but I just don't see what more could have happened, realistically."
You really need to read the article sweetheart. Don't comment on issues you have very little understanding of.
Maybe read the piece so you don't look like such an idiot when commenting?
That's the problem: if there's no system in place for helping victims through navigating the waters of formal complaints and legal action, they are left floundering on their own. UVA and pretty much every other campus on North America is a disgrace when it comes to helping its most vulnerable.
Doxxing people who choose vitriolic racism and to operate under the cover of what is basically the oldest American terrorist organization is fucking fine by me.
I can't say I'm too upset about Klan members being doxxed.
Hahahahahaha, FUCK THE KKK BASTARDS. I hope they all end up homeless and unemployable.
As long as they're busy fucking with the KKK (a hate group) and not feminists (not a hate group) I think I'm okay with it.
In case you thought Ferguson couldn't get any worse, charges have been filed against an officer for raping a woman in jail.
Just noting the massive irony here that a hate group, who operate under the guise of anonymity with the white hoods and whatnot, are getting owned by an even more faceless organization than them. I would think that a group that's been around for what, 125-150 years, would have had a response plan for that by now.
Guess…
I'm... ok with this.
It's incredible, to me, the number of Bronco fans who desperately want this guy. Nobody is pleased with our run game, and I fully acknowledge that. But when you look at his rap sheet since college... think about the destruction of his own Ferrari with a baseball bat in March... look at how much shit he's caused at…
Because no one wants to purposely pick up a PR nightmare? If you take Incognito, the next time something horrible and bullying-related surfaces in the news, you're going under the magnifying glass.
Me too. A week prior to his passing we were outside and I tripped & fell. While I was lying there, laughing at myself, Boo climbed up on my chest and took the opportunity to knead me. It made the whole fall worth it and seeing the paws reminds me of it.
We have five sets of paw prints like that. I made them into Christmas Tree ornaments and every year, we say hello to our old friends again. And we still leave the empty space under the tree where they would sleep under the lights. :)
What a beautiful cat. I love the idea of the paw prints, that's so thoughtful.
I recently had to put down my 20 year old cat. The decision was horrible, but ultimately not difficult to make. She was able to jump up on my lap, try to sneak food from my plate, and always responded to my petting with purrs. Then one day that stopped. She could barely walk, unable to get to the box and urinating on…
