This isn’t an anti-PC comment. This is an anti-Eddie Redmayne doing horseshit Oscar-Bait movies comment. This is the Theory of Everything all over again. That movie sucked, and he had no business winning best actor last year at the Oscars. I like movies.... I DON’T LIKE Eddie Redmayne or stupid movies designed

“This town got a good president killed and took a bad president in after he started two goddamn wars.”

This is quite possibly the best analogy anyone has ever made:

Baseball is losing their bunk-ass war to permanently vilify Barry Bonds

There’s still people that hate cheating and illegal drug use in 2015? Fuck them.

Possibly, but more likely that its just a side effect of the whole anti-establishment "outsider" pretense of the blog.

“which would be great”

Sometimes when you act like an asshole, people treat you like an asshole.

It’s clear Barry was the cream of the crop back then.

To be employed by Deadspin, is it a requirement to be a steroids supporter?

such a barry bonds move, over inflated ego thinking they were going to resign him at that age. What a big head on this guy!

I honestly don’t think we care to tell you the truth. We have the Constitution on our side. You have the burden of making feels outweigh rights. Good luck with that.

The stiffer laws you are referring to are not remotely possible in this country. They just aren’t. That is part of the bigger issue of people who think that the only difference between the U.S. and everyone else is their gun laws. Again, if we eliminated every gun murder, our crime rate would still be way higher than

The historical argument is bullshit though, otherwise, this here interwebs wouldn’t fall under freedom of speech/press. The media historically published pamphlets and broadsheets.

Cars are no more regulated than guns, because you take one test at 16yr old and that’s it for the rest of your life. You can be 100yr old and running through farmer’s markets and they will just say you didn’t mean to. I bet you have someone in your family right now that you feel shouldn’t be driving, but it would be

Do you also believe that there should be no Free Speech on the internet? Because, you know, computers and the internet weren’t around in 1791.

So you want people to have puckle guns and cannon? Not to mention warships since civilians with enough money could actually buy them and use them for privateering.

Honestly, if they wanted to limit gun ownership to people in militias, the easiest workaround is to start creating civilian militias that you pay a membership to join. I imagine they’d do most of their advertising in gun shops, trade shows and magazines, and the people who want to own guns will all be members or this

By that logic, freedom of the press should only apply to people who publish old timey broadsheets on physical paper. This is the type of discussion that doesn’t help the issue - just straight up say you want to ban all guns and leave it at that. It’s more intellectually honest.

...whether the amendment to the Constitution that explicitly states (go read it) that people who are in militias can own guns also means that people who are not in militias can own guns, and if so, whether and which citizens should own guns. Most of these opinions will be the incorrect opinion.
