In my experience you just have less time, regardless of what your hobby is. I try to limit my gaming to half an hour (at most) in the evenings, after our boy is asleep. It took me six months to get sick of Skyrim at about 90 hours. I have switched mostly to more arcadey games that are quick plays.

I use my phone in theaters too. Haters just jealous they don't have anyone calling them.

I am hardly on the internet, and practically never on social media at all on the weekends. I work all week at a computer, so I really need to be away from if for a couple of days. Unless I have a sudden urge to play FTL.
