Patrick, this is a great start at the truth! You know Solomon had this figured out around 900 BC. He laid it out in the book of Ecclesiastes. Check it out. Read in the context of the Bible, these remarks will provide contentment and acceptance of your present condition (suffering), AND hope for a greater plan that

Saab lover and driver here. Maybe-maybe if all original, but salvage title? Absurd CP!

I can’t stand the idea of a heavy retractable roof convertible. Yet, several years back I cross shopped this with a Boxster and VW Eos. (I ended up with a BMW 128i coupe) They are beautiful on the inside, not as bad as people say on the outside, silky power delivery, and ok ride. (I assumed it would be much better if

Wowza! I guess you have a bunch of lies to keep straight now!

Valid point, however, why then is it with a dealer? This seems to be a car that the PO had to get away from. My hunch is lots of things need doing, and an owner who did plenty to get it to 300K, couldn’t see any value in keeping the car.

Z4 M doesn’t tick my boxes, this one seems nicely kept. Maybe a good price for the person looking for this, but with the miles and the wheel/stance just shut me down. -CP

At $14K, I can’t see this as a DD. Now, I have a group of friends that like to gather and go to trivia nights in the area, this would be perfect for that type of excursion!

A quick look at the pics there appears to be some damage to the right rear quarter panel.

Mr Starr,

This...

Full disclosure, I’ve never driven either.

Cute car, ugly modification. And if I was looking for a tow car I can think of a dozen better choices - quickly.

NP if this is your thing.

Came here to say this.

Danny, that would be when you are making room for a couple pre-teens and luggage for four. Interior room and traction were greatly enhanced.

I think I remember the Chevette promoted at $3995. In 1982 I sold at a Ford dealer in the midwest, and Bud, the sales manager taught me the word ‘shitbucket’. Thereafter that was the official prefix for the Chevette. Also suitable for the Fairmont.
