Same here man. I was so disappointed when I followed the link (with my credit card out and ready lol) and realized they weren't for sale...

Does what to game devs? Expects them to act like professionals? Jesus.

Don't get me wrong. I think both are assholes. I just feel the ability to sympathize with Beer more because Fish constantly pulls shit like this and seemingly always acts irrationally.

What I mean to say is, if he cares about his public opinion, he'll make the effort to respond.

That's why I keep saying he needs to hire a PR firm or rep to take over his public relations, because he's fucking up badly trying to do it himself (and has been for a long time). It's not that fuckin hard mate.

It's not bullshit. Do you know why?

I never said he did owe the press anything. But if you don't want the press calling you an asshole, you answer the simple ass questions they ask you. That's how it works.

True, but I think that's because of his personality (which starts with Fish).

I agree. I feel like Blow is shy (or awkward or something) more than stuck up his own ass.

He might be a good dev, but he's a fucking terrible PR rep. He should really just drop off the face of the earth and hire someone in the PR business to deal with all of his PR needs. He's obviously is terrible at it (and has enough cash to do so) and having a PR rep could avoid shit like this.

Beer had a point though...

I just watched it actually. I wanna know what the hell happens afterward! Damn season 2, cmon!

Lol, I'm finishing ep. 11 at the moment. So far it's been much better than I expected tbh. This article made me think of it too.

Fair enough. But if they don't change those fees, it really is just kind of a trick for wanna-be devs you know, especially since they haven't mentioned the fees at all (and they more than likely haven't done away with them, considering they made major money from indie developers that way.)

I get your point, but Microsoft did sorta forget to mention that one has to pay for dev rights, and they forgot about that expensive fee one has to pay to actually get a game on the store. (Not to mention the ridiculous fee they have to pay if their game ends up needing a patch. It's like 5 figures per patch or

Wow, I don't know what happened to my post (because I did post a pretty long rebuttal) but I'll repost a shortened form of it and try to get my original point across.

Well yeah. But who really gives a damn if it's ported or not? The content is the real issue. And the Xbox Version's new content was handled by an outside company, so it's not quite the creators fault. That's why I said it was complicated lol.

It's still going to be supported. They're working on new patches/content now for Terraria. It just took a bit of a break so to speak. It's a complicated issue, but things have "ironed out" apparently.

"It's a common misconception from the lower echelons vis-a-vis art being subjective. I guess you never studied art or had an interest in it."

Are you still acting like art isn't subjective?
