I'm just throwing this out there, but the Star Wars cover says "Perform Distinctive" (i've no idea what that means lol) and "18 in 1", so I'm assuming that it means they have 18 sci-fi films on the disc? Perhaps it's a compilation of sci-fi films, hence why Arnold is shown alongside Star Wars characters (you know,

Lol. He was simply giving the possible origins of the gesture, and in turn said, "It then made it's way into the culture itself." in that while the original meaning has been somewhat lost (not completely, hence the context of it's usage), the gesture was ingrained into the culture.

No questions really, I'd just like to state that I rather enjoy the Culture Smash and love Kotaku East! Keep it up!

Haha, it depends on the people you're with I guess. My family doesn't really say much (other than correcting me) but my friends (for the most part) just go "Oh, that's right, you're colorblind." lol. But with strangers or anything, yeah, I totally get that "The hell? That's green not red" look alot.

Agreed.

Lol, I see their release of games in January less of a "Hey, gamers would love some January releases!" and more of a "Hey, lets capitalize on the ignorance of the rest of the industry who works so hard to get games out for the holidays that they forget about the following month!" But that's just my opinion of course...

Lol. Sorry, but those tropes and cliche's had always been there. Anime isn't new. It wasn't like all of a sudden it became over-cliched in a matter of 5 years. You were just probably too young to realize it. Beyond that however, if you can't find new and interesting anime (ie. stuck with generic bullcrap) then you

But I want Metro: Last Light........ =(

Agreed. These are obvious rips. Also, what the hell more can come out about this company? Seriously? Lying about features, blaming the users, ripping Licensing agreements from Riot Games, and now stealing art from The Walking Dead and other zombie films/shows, and apparently (not sure if this one is true) asking in

I kinda agree. I'm playing through Black atm, and although its fun, I feel confused constantly, just because I have no clue about any of these pokemon, or their types or anything, so it's difficult. I still enjoy SoulSilver though. Whenever I get really nostalgic, I'll play through SoulSilver again... I guess I just

So you're implying that because people dislike a genre, that they must be doing it to be "cool"? As if its not possible that most people who dislike it just really don't like it? That's the dumbest thing I've heard in a while. Hating a certain genre and thinking it makes you cool must be another teenage phenomenon I'm

That's hilarious, I was about to say the exact same thing. The buster shot was like a machine gun. Those were fun times...

I don't know. Was what she did wrong? Yes.

I completely agree. People whining about the cover art on this game are ridiculous. I wished it was just kids whom didn't grow up with covers that looked nothing like the game (I'm looking at you, american Mega Man cover art, and just about every other 80's cover art..) but I know that it isn't, and that makes it so

Jesus gamers are getting too whiney and picky today. Who gives a damn what the cover looks like if the game is good? Seriously, back in the day the covers looked NOTHING like the game, or didn't have anything on it at all practically, but that didn't devalue the game. I can't believe people are bitching and moaning

Surprisingly I liked this game, and I say surprisingly because I don't really like dubstep or Skrillex at all. But I thought the music went well with the idea and the environment being portrayed and artistically it worked. Not bad, just way shorter than I expected, and the damn time limit was killing me.

They used to do stuff like that. I don't go Black Friday shopping anymore, so I'm not up to date on it anymore, but just a few years ago, they had a system very similar to the one you describe. I can't believe these stores let things get this out of control. I'm glad I don't go anymore...

Ok, some of these are really really cool. Others however, I look at and think "I could do better..." which is a big surprise with most Gunpla showcases. I wish I could pick a favorite, but quite a few were really cool... The Digicamo Zaku/Dom, the Accuguy set scene from Unicorn, The above/underwater scene, the Z'gok

These two. FFTA2 and TWEWY were some of my favorite JRPGs released. Not to say I don't love older stuff, but these two took the cake, but were so different I couldn't pick one over the other. The Original Xbox version of Phantasy Star Online gets a runner up shout out too. That was possibly the most fun multiplayer

You should play Ever 17 then. it has this exact scenario ("dude falls in love with unattainable/nonphysical AI woman that he can never have") sans the badass spacemarine soldier detail.
