I love the idea that he's just amusing himself by making jokes that everyone else will only get later. "In retrospect…he literally never stopped telling us he was from the future."

Spot on. Gamora doesn't really have an arc during the movie, which is jarring compared to the other Guardians. She's more or less static, while Peter Quill, Rocket Raccoon, and Drax all change to embrace teamwork/a larger good/The Marvel Way during the movie. Gamora's arc honestly sounds more interesting, or at least…
Actually, Ohio does have felony murder. Purposeful murder ("first degree") is "aggravated murder" in Ohio. Felony murder is just "murder" in Ohio when the death occurs (is prox. caused by, etc. etc.) during a violent felony.
Yeah, I guess it just seemed disingenuous to brag about how she pulled up a statute. I am totally down with single female lawyer bending the rules Laurel, and I think it's an awesome improvement on super righteous s1 Laurel, but come on, show.
Ha, I did stop paying attention, because I completely did not realize it was murder. Oh, Starling City justice system. At this point, there's been so many powerful murderers in SC, maybe they just instituted a statute of limitations to make everything less complicated, because it happens so frequently.
Laurel legal ??? of the episode: she proudly tells Wildcat she made sure that his vigilantism fell outside the statute of limitations. Did Laurel hide evidence to do this? Does she control the law/time now? Did I miss something?
Aw, living Tommy grew on me. I liked that he had normal, human reactions to things, like being surprised that his friend was murdering a bunch of people and distinctly NOT becoming a supervillain when he found out his friend boned the girl he liked. Wrong connection to Oliver's past died.
Yeah, this has got to be a Lazarus Pit situation. Like I said above (sorry, I didn't see your comment before I posted), it'd be a solid way to give Lotz a new identity and maybe make her a villain so they could free up the Black Canary identity for (sigh) Laurel. She'll maybe be the season 4 villain after the LP makes…
Still hoping for Tommy's glorious return!
Yeah, it might be a silly theory, but I'm wondering if this is going to lead into the introduction of the Lazaurus Pit, considering this season has a lot of Ra's Al Ghul. I'd be really, really bummed if this is the last of Lotz/Sara. It'd be an excuse to give her a new name/identity too if they're (unfortunately) set…
I THOUGHT SARA WAS SAFE AFTER LAST SEASON. COME ON. I'm hoping because Sara's been with the League of Assassins, she'll be put into the Lazarus Pit at some point if she's actually dead.
This is the spinoff I want to see. It would be glorious,.
Wow, I love that idea.
In the Starling City bit, it looked like Oliver had picked up some Batman tech. Apparently this wasn't too far off the mark, and Wayne/Queen are merging in 2024. Fun stuff.
Excited by the surprise appearance of puppet Angel
Yeah, in grade school we always thought it was cool he was from Columbus and I read way too many of his books due to that (I liked the Goosebumps choose your own adventure ones). Every so often I run across Columbus native authors and irrationally support them.
"How do you think I feel? Betrayed, bewildered… wrong response?" That's still my response when someone asks me about sports.
The promo for the coming night's episode is my favorite. "Tonight… Yasser Arafat and Kate Moss!"
I think how quotable it is is so underrated! There's a lot of small amazing things. Like Williams telling the non-Ted Kennedy Kennedys to "save room for coffee!" and Gene Hackman's amazing "from the North…where it's cold…to the South…where it's warm…" speech.
While I loved Aladdin and Mrs. Doubtfire, The Birdcage definitely had the biggest effect on me. In 1996, to show that the eccentric gay characters were the "good guys" against a full-of-shit conservative state senator from Ohio was huge for me and my best friend, awkward central Ohio kids struggling with our…
