Rise of the pagan gods is an awesome idea. I wish they'd done that instead of endless angel crap. It'd be way easier to make fun, distinctive pagan gods than trying to get viewers interested in endless bland white angels.

God, that would be so lame. The show's had a pretty existential bent. It's hard to imagine an ending that isn't Sam and Dean hitting the road again.
Oh my god this would be the best. Harmon Supernatural. His mind would explode with the hero development wheels he could make.
The Mark of Phil: bearers gain a sense of smug superiority, but lose the ability to retain character names and plot developments.
Wow, I feel like the Mark of Phil has taken some of us this season (including me). Ha.
Yeah, that's an interesting idea, but not really articulated in the show. If that was their intention, it was poorly executed IMO.
@avclub-d6537db628c8624dd41cdf68e445b71b:disqus for Supernatural showrunner!
Oh, that makes sense too. Man, they really rushed through these points. You would think he would put some kind of magic lock on that or something.
Yeah, I hope so. I feel like when that happens depends pretty heavily on when the writers pull the trigger on what seemed like their endgame for the arcs of season 8-9.
Season 10 Supernatural could totally introduce an angel named Aziraphale. I would support this.
Oh, that makes sense. I wish the show would have stated that somehow, because it seemed like really haphazard writing.
Metatron looking at the camera after healing the woman reminded me a lot of David Blaine in Street Magic.
It's like you can type out my thoughts, sock monkey. This reminded me of the Angel episode "Awakening," if you're familiar.
I really like the where the characters have ended up after this season. Sam has experimented with demon blood, but it's Dean who ended up the demon. Crowley's season arc has been finding humanity. Cas is now the leader of heaven, or the ultimate force for good (theoretically).
Lots of openings, but their employee termination policies leave something to be desired.
Meta Fiction was such a cool idea! And then…that.
GHOST MAYOR 2014. My CW web series dreams are finally coming together!
Yeah, I didn't love Edlund as showrunner, but his individual episodes were mostly great (minus the issues the show has generally with women/homosexuality)
I like Berens, but I think Edlund's sense of humor and construction are great. Not a fair swap IMO. Oh well.
Makes sense. He could probably take on his own project at this point, and I don't blame him for not wanting to return. I mostly just miss his writing.
