Great username. I miss Fringe.
Sidenote: my friend I watch TW with thought Deaton was saying "lycan" the whole time. She thought they were just being really redundant with "lycan lichen." I didn't realize that it could be a pun until she brought it up, and now I can't unhear it.
I did think the book did a great job of showing that too, and I agree with you. The excuses you mentioned were what stood out to me, and fell in line with the narrative of the book (the excuses made for Chris' father, not recognizing problems and issues until they had progressed a ton). By "pitfall" I more meant the…
Oh, yeah, I remembered it incorrectly. I still did think it was pretty lightly treated, though. The overall feeling I got was that the interviewees seemed to think it was absurd that the girl was upset by it.
Yeah, the Chris Farley Show (which I thought was mostly excellent) presented it as the latter, and it was weird. Pitfalls of an oral history told by his friends and family, I guess.
I'M EVERYONE'S TYPE.
Oh, I know, and that's what has kept me watching Teen Wolf. I do love its craziness, but sometimes I think it just tips a little too far (read: 3A) into ????/scattered plotlines. I think this season is best stretch since season 2, though. If only Mrs. Argent was still around…
Hey, I'd watch that. I feel like recruitment may be an issue after this.
Ha, true! I feel like there's a balance for it though, and this reminded me a little more of the "wait, huh?" from 3A and less the crazy trip that season 2 was. But I still really enjoyed the episode, and I think this season's been great so far.
It was a B in my opinion. There were some exciting/fun moments, and Dylan O'Brien was predictably amazing, but it was kind of all over the place and disjointed. I still enjoyed it, though.
First of all: DYLAN O'BRIEN. Man, he's great. I absolutely love the work he's doing on Teen Wolf.
Aw, I actually enjoy Padalecki more when he's not playing Sam (though I think he's okay overall). I thought his Lucifer!Sam was good, and I enjoyed Soulless!Sam a lot.
Yeah, the show's already having difficulty utilizing the characters it already has, let alone more.
Now THIS is worth selling your soul for!
Yeah. It has so much potential and so many cool things it could do then…doesn't.
Ha! I like the idea of Wolfram and Hart senior partner Sam. I would watch that.
Don't mention this to Tumblr.
I really like Eric's reviews! He seems to enjoy the show/pay attention.
Is there really no one else who would cover it? That's a bummer.
