Agree 100% with this. Dean is going to hear a rejection no matter what Sam says.

I had completely forgotten about that. Great comment.
I really need to catch up on Sleepy Hollow! I watched the first few and loved it. Only more interested since they added John Noble as well!
I'm in the 12th. Foiled again by gerrymandering! (just kidding, that's not even super close).
I would listen to Sam sing about that. Good comment!
I was hoping for Sam and Kevin to have an epic bromance this season, but alas…
Oh, I agree with you, and I'm not sure we're talking about the same things. Dean is way more charismatic and connects with people easily.I was more saying that Sam feels more comfortable at and is more proficient at dealing with the non-hunting legitimate world. I'll go into it a little more (though this echoes…
Yeah, maybe I'll just start on season 2 then. I don't remember a ton about the show, just that I really liked Alec and that Max sat on the Space Needle a lot. I was always surprised she never got hit by lightning or something.
Yeah, I think that, the X-Files, and Buffy were the first shows I really followed (I was 12 in 2000), but I've been kind of scared to revisit it. I totally didn't realize Ackles was in it until recently.
Oh man, I'm going to rewatch Dark Angel in the next few months. How'd it hold up? I was way into it back when it was on.
If the CW aired a yoga reality show with their shows' casts, I would watch every episode.
Yeah, almost everyone that Sam's had a meaningful connection with has died at some point or is currently dead. Everyone (except Amelia). Even the person he boned in Season 1. When you think about it, it's a little ridiculous (I think giving Sam a not-toxic and not ending in death relationship, platonic or otherwise,…
My boyfriend picked up Stranger from my bookshelf last week and I basically shoved Moon at him instead (Stranger is not up his alley at all, and he loved TMiaHM). I went through a Heinlein phase around 13-14, and I really, really liked Moon but was definitely put off by Stranger. I was wondering if it was because I…
I just finished Among Others, by Jo Walton. I enjoyed it, but I felt the side characters and some dangling plot threads fell a little flat for me. I also read the Chris Farley Show, which I thought was a very, very interesting oral history.
Yeah, I went in worried it would be a weight loss fiasco, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I also liked that while it was a funny moment, it also echoed the ideas the show's been setting out from the pilot that while Dean is driven, loyal, and a great hunter, Sam's more comfortable and better at interacting with the real non-hunting world.
Oh, oops. I knew it wasn't right when I was writing it, brain slip. Silly of me— I totally watched it on the WB way back when too.
Honestly, I would totally watch that episode over a few episodes in this season!
Yeah, I wish the show would be clearer about this, because SPN really loves recycling conflicts so I don't immediately assume the "no exceptions" thing means anything. On another show, I'd be a fan of the slow build but with SPN it's a little more confusing.
Oh, I kind of always liked J-Wow (as far as Jersey Shore people go) during my days of "watching whatever was on TV" in college. Kind of wish she was on instead of Snooki.
