Agreed. I had a 13 320i and if you plugged in a phone charger it would interfere with the car recognizing you had the key. Made me hate push button start.

I never buy a car with a sunroof and I’m amazed how many people act like I’m some sort of caveman for it.  

For me its most of the “automatic” features that never work quite as well as you want them to.

Unfortunately the state needs to be involved in making the software work. Until they’re bought in, they will always be a roadblock in making car buying easier.  Plenty of states won’t let you e-contract because they still want a wet signature.
