Pretty much.  They probably put them on dealer tags the whole time too instead of registering them.

Makes you wonder? Not really.

Yeah.  That car is one of those this is secretly very good.  I wanted a 240SX when I was 14.  The Nissan dealer told my dad we should get the 200SX instead, cheaper insurance for a kid.  I should have listened.

Yeah.  The Grand Cherokee does more or less the same things on the Trailhawk package.

Which benefits the business entities but does nothing for Elon himself (unless he’s living in company housing, which knowing him, probably) or all the employees who are going to move out there.

it is the best kind of correct.

As a Californian who moved to Texas long ago the no income tax thing is such bullshit.  Yeah there’s no income tax, but the property taxes make up for it.  They’re gonna get it one way or another.

I hate how the numbers in alphanumeric names never mean anything real anymore. An NX450h should have a 4.5L V8 with a hybrid system.

I’m gonna go with a vehicle I owned (and frankly loved) but was kind of a weak showing: The Chevrolet S10 SS.

Agreed.  The Craig movies have never done it for me.

Ah.  We never got them like that on the west coast.

That was more a glorified salad bar

I remember Hometown Buffett. Went a few times as a kid and somehow I was sophisticated enough to know it was bad back then.

I’d look for a GMC Canyon/Chevy Colorado crew cab 4x4 with the 2.8L Duramax Diesel.  Should be doable for about 30k for a used one.  I miss mine, should have kept it when the lease was up.  I could pull 30mpg highway out of that truck.  Was great for camping and mild off pavement stuff.

I always called these the Ford CRX.

Yes.  Pretty common for old school 4x4s to have separate shifters for 4wd.   Reminds me of the layout in a Toyota in the 80's.

I’ve been recommending the Kia Forte for years to the Civic/Corolla/Sentra shoppers.

I’ve been watching through the series again and damn, I don’t think I appreciated the genius of it when I was younger.  Its so good.

this is why you should only buy manual BMW’s.

Mini: Don’t worry, we barely sell any of these things any more.
