I feel like I’m correcting Jeep people on this fact way too often and honestly it feels like a massive mistake on Ford’s end. 

Exactly why.  I test drove one, was driving a Canyon at the time.  When I pulled back into the dealership I parked it next to my truck and was amazed at how much longer it was while providing no extra function. 

The Gladiator also has all the shortcomings of the Wrangler’s cab which is a problem for a lot of truck buyers.
