I’m not being obtuse. I’m someone who bought a very nicely equipped Wrangler Rubicon for $51k. I do not see the motor alone justifying $20k over what I paid. 

Even using the full fat Challenger version, the walk up in cost from the V6 to the 392 is not the 20k+ you see in the Wrangler.

The Jeep Wrangler 392 at$ 70k+. Its a pure cash grab considering the same engine is available in a $32k Ram 2500.

Pretty much. Kind of soured me on the whole experience.
