Those seats look pretty similar to 95+ XJ sport seats. I’m surprised there’s no rear seat headrests either. Definitely is bare bones?

Eh, I had a 2wd XJ, and while I never did any “real” off roading with it, it was great on the beach and dirt roads.

yup.  Literally everything he listed in mid tier is top tier in the off-road world.  

I had a rental car with automatic emergency braking and hated it.  Only went off once but was enough for me to think this isn’t ready for prime time.  Was backing out of a parking space, barely rolling and it locked up the brakes for a car that I knew was coming and would turn into a space before it became an issue.  

Growing up Catholic, I know church fish frys during Lent are still a big thing in that community.
