I played Eve for about 6 months and the key is to get into an active Corporation. I was in a small start up that was cool, but when the guy running it was out for a while (something about a huge flood or something where he lived), it sort of fell apart and got boring.

It’s similar to being a “computer” guy. I set up a printer to work over a wifi network and now I’m sort of expected to know how everything works.

He’s under contract thru next year but would have been eligible for the big money DPE this summer.
