This is why I’ve mostly quit playing basketball games. I had one of the NBA2K games and one game would take me 30-45 minutes (playing 8 minute quarters) and it was just too much.

Yep. I did that a lot too. Full court press with Ewing guarding the inbounds pass. He would get tons of steals and dunks. I could get Starks scoring ~80 points per game and everyone else with around 25-30.
Did you ever play Tecmo NBA Basketball for the regular Nintendo? I could do this with John Starks on the Knicks. There was one spot on the floor where he could make 28-30 from three.
I’ve never been a hockey fan, but a friend of mine had one of the NHL games (94 or 95, I can’t remember) and he would play with Chicago and I would play with whatever team had Patrick Roy (I guess Quebec then....not sure) and we knew if either of us got a single goal, the game was likely over. It was a blast.
Good luck. I know he had them all the time and they made him very miserable.
Odd. A friend of mine would get kidney stones all the time and drank Mtn Dew almost exclusively. His dentist told him the opposite that the Mtn Dew was a big contributor to his kidney stones.
“Figure out what will kill me, then back it off a little.”
I’ve never understood that we are ok with “he beats people up for a living” but not ok with “he smokes a little weed on the side.”
This was part of the reason I bought the Yeti cups. I read somewhere that they were made in the U.S., but turns out they aren’t and I should have done more research.

I have a couple of Yeti cups (30 oz tumblers that came up on Amazon for $20 each) and they do come with small stickers. Not really big enough to put on a car and be noticed though.

My favorite one of these was a lady discussing recent flooding while sitting in a canoe that was floating in the street. Midway thru her report, two guys walked in front of the canoe showing there was approximately 2" of water on the ground.
I had a friend tell me one they they had gotten fat because of shame...as in, “it would be a shame to let the rest of this food go to waste.” I can sympathize.
What is the deal with Chrysler and the maroon-ish interior? It seems like 75% of their vehicles, regardless of color, have that interior.
I had this game (or one just like it) for the Apple IIc and can confirm it was a blast.
This was a great article. I took the wife and kid in April (not the week of Easter, but the week after) and it was great. We had to take my son out of school for a week, but the weather was great pretty much every day (mid 80s most of the time) and it wasn’t as packed as you will find in the summer.
Under the table...right?
There is a school of thought (I’ve heard it from Dave Ramsey) that when you buy with a credit card, you spend more and buy things that you wouldn’t necessarily buy if you were just paying with cash. So, even if you pay it off every month, you are still spending money that you could be saving for a big purchase or…
I found out yesterday, while watching the contest, that I enjoy seeing the results of the competition (70 hot dogs!! USA! USA!), but I do not enjoy watching the contest at all.
How is it possible that nobody has convinced him to go with a different hairstyle? It’s like he has the same barber as Pete Rose.
