It actually personally offends a whole group of people who are already seen as secondary citizens. So, yeah.

The word "retarded" started with people with learning disabilities. "Mentally retarded" is a clinical term. But then dipshits brought it into modern society as a synonym for "stupid", or as a way to mock people, "haha, you are retarded!1!" as if something that 1 in 3000 people are BORN with is something that's fucking…
Really, Jill? Were you aware that this was yesterday: http://www.r-word.org/
I agree. I was expecting them to be 16 or something. I was 19 when I had my son, and even then I wasn't considered "extremely young"...
Not to brag or anything, but my fiance pretty much checks all of those boxes besides, travel, food, and cultured. Mostly because he has certain things that he can and can't eat, and is also a homebody.
Are you sure that your weight gain isn't just water weight or bloat?
Being hugged by a stranger is never pleasant for anyone. If he didn't have Down Syndrome he would probably be at the most, sued or arrested, or at the least, have a dead business.
I agree. I hate that it's suddenly NEWS because he has Downs Syndrome. It's so incredibly condescending and patronizing.
I really fucking hate sympathy porn.
I constantly have to ask my fiance to wash his hands after he pees.
I agree with you. I think nail art and even fake nails are terribly tacky, mostly because most people don't know that you are supposed to trim the fake nails so they are just past the tip of your finger, not left in their gaudy and obviously fake -glory. I can appreciate a French manicure or a solid color, but…
I love that game! If you get offended over a card game you should just take your ball and go home because no one wants to play with a buzzkill anyway.
Plus lots of people don't show any signs (especially men) so they are out there passing it around without a care in the world and the girl won't even know until 3 months layer if she happens to have an outbreak of GW (if that's the strain she happened to contract). HPV is serious business. Yes the outward signs can be…
You can't vaccinate against something you already have. Although there are many different strains and the GW ones don't necessarily = the cervical cancer ones. The vaccine protects against the 3 most common strains.
The outward symptoms might, but the virus is in your body forever and can reappear at any time, especially during times of high hormone levels like pregnancy.
Re: the first bit of advice re: STD test.
I think I found the "special appearance by" part much more hilarious than I should have. It always amused me that the guy who played Richard Gilmore was pretty much in every scene with Emily Gilmore and yet he was never pegged as a series regular although she was.
Gaga is 26, not 22.
@lolliPOPS - I am very much pro-choice (I feel the need to mention this before my next sentence), but it should be more widely known how INACCURATE those tests can be. Something like 70% false positives? There are many, many people who give birth to perfectly healthy babies, expecting Down's.
I do this to my child all the time. Usually not drunk, though.
