FINALLY! THIS MAKES ME SO RIDICULOUSLY HAPPY!
FINALLY! THIS MAKES ME SO RIDICULOUSLY HAPPY!
Long distance relationships. When you’re apart from each other for months at a time, it’s nice to keep connection on as many levels as possible.
I’m also getting married this year ^.^ Wedding twinsies?
Money really, REALLY doesn’t buy taste.
If Say Yes to the Dress has taught me anything, it’s that money CERTAINLY does not buy taste.
Ahhh, weddings. I feel the need to vent because I’m in the midst of planning mine. It’s gonna be big-ish, because really, weddings are kinda your only shot at cramming everyone who loves you into one room, and my fiance and I want that. Extravagant spending, it is not. The cost of the bachelorette party will be…
Thanks. That looks really promising!
Oh goodness that sounds like it’s been a crazy couple of months! But also lovely, it is nice to be able to celebrate happinesses of people you care about. Now that the bulk of the work is over with, here’s to hoping the wedding itself goes smoothly for you all.
I’m not up to speed on all of this, but Holley has an MTV truelife hour-long episode about previous Olympic heavylifting training as well as some family stuff. Stumbled across it at 2AM and she made a really strong impression on me ... She was just really open and positive about pursuing her dream, and her…
As a 20-something whose calm-in-highschool skin started rioting at about age 21, I’d recommend just going to the dermatologist, if its feasible for you. It’s not selfish, you’re not misusing physician resources; it’s your face and you’re worthy of seeking the expertise. I put it off for years trying different product…
I empathise with the wedding-related obligations! Ugh, just spent entirely too many hours compiling the addresses for my guestlist ... I could use a drink or five. Where are you at in the obligations-curve?
Ooh, I’m curious about this and would love to hear more!
It was pretty great! We found out when they messaged us posed photos of “target practice” with the axes (with my fiance at the target, lol).
I really appreciated this piece, and the fresh perspective it brought to Jez.
I concur. Nude isn’t terrible, but it’s nothing special. The red, on the other hand, is spectacular.
It all depends on the couple, and what they want. At my sister’s wedding last weekend, the groom’s bachelor party also included his parents as well as the bride’s parents(!) and grandparents(!!). They all went axe throwing with the male half of the bridal party.
Note: I am not a medical doctor, though I do work in the healthcare profession (initially made my burner to discuss my own health issues). If you’re curious about specific risk reductions after quitting, and other clinically-determined physiological changes, here’s a relatively detailed timelined link with some…
Ahhh, my childhood!
Thunder Bay is home for me, but I’m away for grad school practicum for the summer. That’s amazing! I’ve never met another Thunder Bay-er who reads Jez.
Fellow Northern-Ontarian here! Well, Northwestern-Ontarian. Nothing insightful that’s wedding related to say (except that your mother needs to seriously chill). Just happy to see representation!
