Bingo that’s Hollywood for you. Maybe the Academy will think twice before they trot Chris rock out of the Big House again to demean black women and their causes.

But I bet you Rock got the message loud in clear about what we as a people will and will not tolerate comedian or no comedian.

Will Smith reminded the Academy he was Black. Hence the overly harsh sentencing. 10 years, no parole. :/

And don’t forget both John Wayne and Clint Eastwood were trying to bumrush the stage, when Sacheen Littlefeather had gone up to the stage for Marlon Brando, when he won the Oscar.

I mean, they got rid of the worst: Polanski, Weinstein, and Cosby. Those 3 didn’t actually do their misdeeds on the Academy Awards premises, which is what is driving a lot of the outrage. Like Smith literally overshadowed the entire award show.

I have mixed feelings - he messed up, to say the least; it’s not the worst thing that’s ever happened; people turned on him just like *that* without asking “this dude is usually cool - what made him snap like that?” Kanye gets more support that Will does and I just don’t get the straight up hate he’s been receiving. …

Someone pushed someone and that person was so disturbed that they rushed into violence. That’s a grey situation no matter who it is, even if you consider the violent part 100% wrong and that the aggressor should see some form of punishment.

I would look at it like this:

So of he treats his employs this bad. just think of how bad he would treat you car...

Regardless of their motivations, it’s nice to see they did the kid a solid. 

And of course, the local news will run a feature on this. People tune out most commercials but pay attention to the local features. 

Nice! And a Kia Soul. I was a bit down on these cars until I got one as a rental. tl;dr they’re great. Honestly it’s a little better for a teenager than a SUV IMO

I’m sure the PR value they’ll get from this is far above what the car cost them.
